Our partners are working hard to support families during this difficult time. We understand how important it is to remain connected with each other and be able to offer support to those in similar situations.

There is a range of online opportunities to engage with families and get professional support.

ADDvanced Solutions Community Network 

ADDvanced Solutions Community Network’s online Community Network Groups are an opportunity to discuss your current difficulties around neurodevelopmental conditions (NDCs). During this session, you can view (if you wish) and talk to other parents, the ADDvanced Solutions team and other professionals who can help you. These sessions are delivered through Zoom for healthcare meetings, so please get in touch to register your interest and to receive your invitation. Groups are limited to ten people per session.

Their online learning programme for parents, carers and supporters who wish to gain knowledge and skills about their child’s neurodevelopmental condition, with strategies to support the various difficulties they may face. The programme will be delivered in a webinar format, with the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.

Merseyside Youth Association RAISE Team

The YAY group meet every Tuesday evening, 5-7pm, on Zoom. They’re always on the lookout for new members, so if you know of a young person aged 11+, they can email Tony Niemen

Tony also hosts a weekly Instagram Live session on the MYA RAISE Team account. Each week Tony invites guest speakers to chat about a range of topical issues important to young people. Join Tony and the team at 6-6.3-pm each Wednesday.

Bite-size courses covering a range of mental health issues which impact on children, young people and their families.

The sessions will last between 20-30 minutes and will be delivered via the video-calling tool, Zoom, to groups of people at various times of the day and evening. We are inviting parents as well as members of the children and young people’s workforce to take part in these sessions together.

Fresh+ Virtual Parent/Carer Support Groups

The group is offering online and virtual support groups for parents/carers with a child experiencing mental health difficulties.

For parents and carers of children who are experiencing emotional or mental health difficulties, the team has launched:

  • a closed Facebook support group; and
  • weekly video support groups which will be joined by a CAMHS Practitioner from Fresh CAMHS.

LivPaC – Liverpool Parents & Carers

LivPaC knows this is a very difficult and exceptional time for all parents/carers, children/young people and their families.  They are continuing to offer support as much as possible with:
