Education in Mind 2025: Empowering Schools to Support Mental Health in Liverpool

Staff working across Liverpool’s education sector are invited to take part in Education in Mind 2025 — a full day of collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving to address the dramatically changed mental health landscape facing children, young people, and families.

Organised by the Liverpool Learning Partnership (LLP), in collaboration with Liverpool’s Children and Young People’s Mental Health Support Partnership, the event will be held on Thursday 13th November 2025, 9am – 4pm at the Liverpool Guild of Students, University of Liverpool.

Speaking about the event, Kath Fraser, Strategic Development Lead at LLP, said:

“Over the past five years, Liverpool has seen rising levels of need and ongoing impacts from COVID-19. Education in Mind 2025 will bring together educators, mental health professionals, and community partners to share knowledge, explore solutions, and strengthen support for pupils and staff.”

Highlights of the day will include:

Keynote Speakers – addressing pressing themes and sharing practical solutions.

World Café – roundtable discussions encouraging rich dialogue and collaborative problem-solving.

Interactive Marketplace – stalls hosted by services and organisations, offering meaningful connections with schools.

Breakout Workshops & Seminars – tailored sessions covering trauma-informed practices, emotional literacy, and culturally sensitive approaches.

Pupil Voice – creative performances and insights directly from children and young people.

Best Practice Presentations – inspiring ‘good news stories’ and successful strategies from local schools.

Kath added: “Education in Mind is about coming together as a community to share learning, tackle challenges, and build stronger support networks for children, families, and the staff who work tirelessly to support them.”

Delegate cost: £120 (with concessions available*).

*Concessions:

Each school in Liverpool will receive one free place, subsequent places will be charged at 50% (£60). Any delegates using a free place will be charged full price in the event of a non-attendance.

Members of the Liverpool Schools’ Mental Health Partnership along with those presenting at the event are entitled to free delegate places.

Members of the Whole School Approach Collective will be charged a reduced price of £60 per delegate.
