Event Overview

Alder Hey Fresh CAMHS will help you to take a fresh look at eating behaviours amongst children and young people. This half-day training provides an opportunity to understand more about fussy eating, and when eating behaviours may be described as anorexia or bulimia. The session provides time to reflect on your own professional practice through group exercises, discussing case examples, and by discussing when professional help is needed. This training is facilitated by colleagues working in our specialist eating disorder service. We will take a considered approach in discussing how we respond to young people who are struggling in some way with eating, and when to direct young people to Fresh CAMHS or other local services. The session will be interactive and will create a space to connect with other professionals. No prior knowledge of the area is expected.s.
