Gender Identity in Children and Young People

This 3.5 hour course written, developed and presented  by MYA, Alder Hey Hospital (Specialist CAMHS) and YPAS is an exploration of Sex, Gender and Sexuality in gender variant children and young people.

This course will explore some of the following key issues:

– Gender Dysphoria, also known as Gender Identity Disorder

– Language and terminology

– Exploring child development and key theories

– Key legislation

– Pathways to support

– Child and Young Person Centred Approach  around gender identity
