This training will be delivered by Young Person’s Advisory Service- LGBTQ+ Team

This training, which is suitable for is suitable for professionals working with children and young people in Liverpool- referral pathways and support offer will be tailored to children and young people in Liverpool, covers:

Familiarise participants with key language and terminology re: gender identity and sexuality.
What do we mean by transgender and gender identity?
LGBTQ+ History.
Trans youth health care.
How to identify the challenges faced by young people struggling with gender identity and to look at ways to support them.
Referral pathways and local support.
