Who the course is for: this course is for those working in the Education Sector (Secondary) with children and young people in the Liverpool City Region, including school staff, and Liverpool CAMHs partners: MHSTs, EMHPs, School Nurses and YPAS Wellbeing Leads. Your role must allow you to deliver group interventions.
About this course: Delivered by the MYA RAISE Team, this 1-day, face-to-face, train-the-trainer course equips you to deliver a 5-session group intervention programme to support children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing. This course specifically focuses on Sleep.

Learning outcomes:
- Gain an understanding of the importance of sleep and the impact of sleep deprivation on young people.
- Equip you with confidence and skills to support a group of young people to implement the 5 values of sleep in their routine.
- Understand how to effectively communicate with young people around their sleep habits.
- Reflect on how REACT: Sleep can be implemented into your setting.
Time length: 1-day. 9.30am-4.30pm.
Delivery method: Face-to-face at Merseyside Youth Association.
