Alder Hey Fresh CAMHS will help you to take a fresh look at your skills in understanding and managing challenging behaviour. This half-day training will give you a framework for understanding the theoretical background to what is important and critically reflect on your own professional practice through group exercises and discussion with colleagues. Case examples will be used to understand how children and young people communicate in different ways through their behaviour. There will also be exercises to enable you to think about how to implement some of the strategies discussed. The session will be interactive and will create a space to connect with other professionals. No prior knowledge of the area is expected.
