Course overview/description

MHFA is a 2 day course to equip professionals with the tools to help young people struggling with Mental Health issues. It looks at the definition and covers: Depression; Anxiety; Suicide; Psychosis; Self-harm and Eating disorders.

Level of need: This training is aimed at those working at Levels 1, 2, 3 & 4

Level 1. Universal Services

Level 2. Additional Need – Multi-Agency Early Help

Level 3. Complex Needs – Multi-Agency Early Help

Level 4. Acute Specialist, Including Safeguarding

Who is it aimed at?

Professionals working with Young people.

What will attendees learn from this event?

How to recognise the symptoms and help the Young person and what services are available to signpost individuals, professionals and parents
