Organised by Merseyside Youth Association’s @MYARAISETeam Mental Health Promotion Team, in partnership with Liverpool’s Children and Young People’s Mental Health Support Partnership, @NHSCandM ICB (Liverpool Place) and the @MerseysideVRP, NOW Fest returns with an important new theme:

🌍 Mental Health and the Environment

In 2026, we’ll explore how the places young people live, learn and grow in shape their wellbeing — from social and economic pressures to community strengths and inequalities. Across the festival, we will:
✅Examine the factors that support or damage young people’s mental health
✅Spotlight inequalities and their impact on mental health services
✅Amplify children and young people’s voices about their local areas
✅Celebrate strong communities and social networks
✅Challenge how prevention and early intervention can create change

✨ Don’t miss this inspiring festival that puts young people at the heart of the conversation.

Having good mental health isn’t just about avoidin Having good mental health isn’t just about avoiding low moods; it’s about feeling connected, bouncing forward after setbacks, and building strong relationships.

When your mental health is in a good place, it's easier to cope with life’s ups and downs. But when things get overwhelming, you don’t have to face it alone.

In Liverpool, support services for young people are available for every level of need, from staying well to specialist crisis care. And most services don’t need a referral.

A chance for parents and carers to share views on A chance for parents and carers to share views on children and young people’s mental health support

We want to hear from parents, carers and families across Cheshire & Merseyside about a draft one-year Children & Young People’s (CYP) Mental Health Plan for 2026/27.

This is not a long-term strategy. It is a short, one-year plan that focuses on what can realistically be delivered in a financially challenging year, while still aiming to improve experiences for children and young people who need mental health support.

We know the system is under pressure, but your voice is crucial in helping decide what the right priorities should be over the next 12 months.

Your feedback matters because this plan should reflect real experiences, not just professional views.

We want to know:
✅What feels clear and helpful
✅What doesn’t make sense or feels unrealistic
✅What you think is missing
✅What would make the biggest positive difference for children and young people locally
✅Whether the plan reflects your lived experience as a parent, carer or family.

This short-term strategy is about getting the basics right, protecting the most vulnerable, and making practical improvements in the next year. Your feedback will directly shape the final plan that is published by the Integrated Care Board (ICB).

If you’d like to share your thoughts, please email your feedback to the MentalHealthPromotion@mya.org.uk by 12 January 2026

Read the plan from the link in our bio.
