Liverpool’s Early Help Directory, and Local Offer Directory, provide a wealth of information about local services available to children, young people and families across Liverpool.

The directory is easy to use, searches can be simplified using post code, keyword and A-Z searches and are filtered into categories, including, Parenting Journey, Learning and Skills, Family Services, Health, Money and Housing and the Local Offer.

Liverpool’s Local Offer provides a wealth of information, advice and guidance to support families with a child / young person with Special Educational Needs / Disabilities (SEND).

Providing Early Help to families is key to preventing needs from escalating into more serious concerns.

Support needs can be very simple or more complex; sometimes requiring one or more agencies working together to provide the help required. Each service within the Directory will provide details of how to access, who to contact, and how the service links to Liverpool’s Level of Need framework.  to view the levels of need click on the image to the left.

If you require additional support to access the information on the directory, we have Browse Aloud. This delivers high-quality speech to assist those with dyslexia, literacy difficulties, and mild visual impairments and where English is a second language when browsing the site. Browse Aloud features and options are accessed from an easy to use, floating toolbar on the homepage.
