Who the course is for: this course is for those working with children and young people (in any capacity), and parents, carers, or those caring for children and young people.
About this course: Delivered by the MYA RAISE Team, this Bitesize course highlights the importance of developing self-compassion and the impact this can have on our mental health and wellbeing. By exploring the key principles of Self-Compassion and allowing you space to reflect on your own Compassion and how you can cultivate it, this bitesize will allow you to adopt new techniques and ideas to support our children and young people with their own self-compassion.
Learning outcomes:
- Knowledge of what Self-Compassion is and the facets of this practice
- Understanding of the underlying theories of Self-Compassion
- Insight into how to cultivate your own Self-Compassion
- Strategies to help gain Self-Compassion and embed them into your own life
Time length: 1 hour 15 minutes
