The Neurodevelopmental Offer – Alder Hey

The neurodevelopmental offer for children, young people and their families has been commissioned by the Integrated Care Board (ICB) Liverpool Place, to ensure services and support are available for those experiencing difficulties with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Sensory Processing Difficulties (SPD).

Neurodevelopmental referrals can be made via our online portal.

Waiting list

The ASD Pathway receives a lot more referrals. Waiting times for a diagnosis to be concluded are currently up to 104 weeks. We apologise for these long waits. Please be assured that we are working hard to reduce our waiting times.

We encourage families to contact us if:

  • You need support/advice whilst your child/young person is on our waiting list – we can offer you an Advisory Session appointment with an ASD Specialist Practitioner.
  • Your child/young person needs adjustments to access their assessment.
  • Your child/young person’s needs or circumstances have changed.
  • You or your child/young person have any questions or concerns about the assessment process.
