Perinatal Mental Health Survey Liverpool

Help us improve mental health services for pregnant women and new mums in Liverpool

Liverpool City Council would like to hear from all women and their families who live in Liverpool who has experienced any type of mental health problem at any point during pregnancy or up until their baby turned one – also known as the ‘perinatal period’. Your experience needs to be within the last five years.

It is really important that we hear your views of what support helped during this period and what could have been better so we can improve and develop Community Perinatal Mental Health Services in our area. Your views will inform our plans and this will help us meet the needs of local women and families. Perinatal mental health problems are those which occur during pregnancy or in the first year following the birth of a child. It includes things like postnatal depression and anxiety.
