Eating Problems and Disorders Snapshots

Members of Liverpool’s Eating Disorders Steering Group have collaborated to create a series of targeted support snapshots as part of the eating disorder pathway review.

Adopting the same style and layout as the universal snapshots, these age-specific guides (5-11, 11-16, 16-18 and 18-25) feature information on recognising signs, seeking help, and accessing the appropriate support services in Liverpool.

They outline the various levels of support available, from prevention and early help to more specialist and high-level crisis care. In relation to eating and body image, they aim to promote mental health, resilience, and self-care among children and young people while also providing links to resources for professionals, parents, carers and young people.

This page contains the documents, which can be viewed and downloaded as PDFs. It also has a page aimed at children and young people.

Please share these snapshots to raise awareness of the eating disorder pathway and support available.
